One of the beautiful Breakers' ballrooms set the stage for Food For The Poor’s Fine Wines & Hidden Treasures Gala. Proceeds from the gala will benefit Food For The Poor’s home building program for destitute families in Haiti. Robert G. and Arlette Gordon were the honorary chairmen and Elizabeth Bowden was the gala chairwoman. Paul Marino was the event chairman.

Food For The Poor, is the third-largest international relief and development organization in the nation, and does much more than feed millions of hungry poor in 17 countries of the Caribbean and Latin America. This interdenominational Christian agency provides emergency relief assistance, clean water, medicines, educational materials, homes, support for orphans and the aged, skills training and micro-enterprise development assistance, with more than 96 percent of all donations going directly to programs that help the poor.
