Carlisle proudly celebrated their second anniversary on the Avenue this month. The showroom has built a loyal following of women, that continues to grow, who love the unmatched, personalized shopping experience and are seeing clothing fit like never before thanks to Carlisle's free professional alterations on site.

Only two years ago Bill Rondina, CEO and Founder of The Connaught Group, embarked on creating his second showroom featuring the Carlisle and Per Se Collections, and in doing so he selected Greenwich, Connecticut for the exclusive location. The Connaught Group, a New York City-based direct sales fashion company, maintains only one other permanent showroom for the Carlisle and Per Se Collections which is in a luxurious Manhattan penthouse just off 52nd Street.

During the two years on the Avenue in Greenwich the showroom has stepped up to the growing demands of clients by morphing the direct sales business model into a private retail showroom stocked with the latest collections for women to experience and purchase. No longer do women have to wait for clothing after ordering; today, women who enter the showroom are leaving with garment bags filled with their favorite looks fitted to perfection.

"We tell women that of course the clothing is amazing, but the addition of a simple fitting can make all the difference in how the sleeve falls on the arm, the dress cinches at the waist or the pant hits just the right place on the chosen shoe. We're in the business of making women look and feel beautiful in their clothes," says Reed McMillan, the newly appointed Director of Business Development for Carlisle's Greenwich Avenue Showroom.

Connecticut women wanting undivided attention when shopping for their wardrobe need look no further than 283 Greenwich Avenue in Greenwich. Currently, the Fall and Holiday Carlisle and Per Se Collections are available in the showroom.

"For a woman who has either limited time or interest in shopping for a special occasion or enhancing her wardrobe, we are able to give her that individualized attention and really hone in on her objectives," said Lisa Fleming, director of the showroom. "We have found this to also be very important for the professional working woman who only may have lunch-time, evening or weekend availability."

The 4,500-square-foot showroom, which has two stylists, two assistants and a seamstress, offers alterations and delivers garments to clients' offices or homes. Along with offering personalized wardrobing and individualized attention, prices at the Greenwich location are comparable with other high-end clothes with skirts and pants ranging from upper $200s to $400s, blouses and knit tops costing from $200 to $300 and leather and suede jackets selling from $895 to $1,200.

The Greenwich location works well for women who don't want to wait around, and love having a wardrobe stylist who keeps a file on previous purchases, likes and dislikes -- so at the end of the day the time spent each season is focused on adding the smart pieces to an existing wardrobe based on wise, elegant and personalized wardrobing decision making.

"After all -- your wardrobe and your look is part of the brand of you. Taking the time to express that brand in meaningful way is priceless," points out McMillan.
