The Breast Cancer Alliance 16th annual Benefit Luncheon and Fashion Show, Hats Off to Health, wowed over 700 guests who gathered at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich to support breast cancer research, outreach and education programs.

Guest speaker Cokie Roberts, commentator and analyst for ABC News and National Public Radio (and herself a breast cancer survivor), spoke about the continuing need for active involvement in breast cancer, saying, "Advocacy matters!"

This year's fabulous live auction event excited the crowd as auctioneer Scott Mitchell exhorted attendees to wave their hats and bid for the two prizes: an eight-day, all inclusive luxurious vacation in India and a year's worth of shoes from Richards of Greenwich for two lucky winners.

The day's highlight, as always, was the fashion show, underwritten by our partner Mitchells/Richards. Luxe styles from Escada, Valentino, Loro Piana, Bruno Cucinelli and more set the tone for an elegant fall season. Deafening applause rang out as the final models - all breast cancer survivors - took to the runways, walking proudly and fashionably with their supporters to end the show.
