On December 14th, Ambassador Robert Finn, currently a professor at the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University addressed the Ambassadors Round Table Group of the Stamford World Affairs Forum on the topic of “Winding Down the Wars” in Iraq and Afghanistan. As an experienced diplomat for many years in this part of the world and former US Ambassador to Afghanistan, his perspective was most interesting and informative as he addressed a breakfast group of over 100 members. This event was of the dinner hosted by Dean and Hope Remoundos prior to the event.
The World Affairs Forum of Stamford is a not for profit association that has been providing series of lectures and events to the community for over 60 years. Its purpose is to inform and educate our communities on foreign affairs in a non partisan manner. It also provides scholarships and awards to local area students interested in a career or in studies of international relations.
