The seventh annual Breast Cancer Alliance Walk For Hope turned Greenwich Avenue pink on Sunday, May 20th, raising nearly $60,000 for the fight against breast cancer. Executive Director Yonni Wattenmaker said: "Thanks to Caroline Brecker and Chris Combe, our incredible event co-chairs, our generous sponsors led by Platinum Sponsor Omnicom Group, and dedicated donors and volunteers, this was the most successful walk in the organization’s history. I feel privileged to be a part of this organization!" Debbie Black, President of the Breast Cancer Alliance, has proudly described the event as a “friend-raiser” as it welcome people of all ages, from grandparents to toddlers, from across Fairfield and Westchester counties, all coming together united in this cause. Proceeds from the Walk serve to further the mission of BCA by funding cutting-edge research, breast surgery fellowships and education and outreach initiatives for uninsured and underinsured women.
